In early 2017, Champo took an initiative to shift most of the production of Tufted and Handloom rugs in house to enhance the productivity and maintain quality parameters. Today, we have a production capacity of 500 Tufted looms and 25 Handlooms with supporting finishing procedures like latexing, binding and packing.
The new facility has been ergonomically designed for smooth and efficient production line. Currently, the facility has expanded by three times over the past year.
Keeping future needs in perspective, we have customised an ERP software which uses futuristic technologies like AI to avoid human errors and keep traceability updated along with planning each process as per the factory’s capacity. Alerts are now auto generated each time a rug is on hold under a certain process.
