Hand tufted in red in prominent round shape in wool. This rug takes its inspiration from Mashhad carpets and oriental rugs that are hand knotted in Iran. These carpets are easy to recognize given their famous medallions surrounded by floral motifs, often dominated by tones of red. These carpets are reminiscent of Persian carpets from keshan. The motifs used to consist of intricately designed medallions, tress, figural motifs, and floral motifs.
